If you are using Clone Manager Basic version 9, you can download a software patch that will update your program to the latest version (ver 9.11). This update makes a new correction to repair the Get Molecule feature (used to retrieve Entrez files), and adds a number of small corrections to existing features. You can also download the latest version of the program's compiled HTML Help.
In modules that link to NCBI data (the Retrieve from Entrez module), the Get Molecule feature has been updated again to work with the modified Entrez system. Other minor corrections include handling of unnamed features in the Gateway cloning wizard, repair to the auto-crop function for export snapshots, a correction to invalid base recognition in copy and paste operations on protein sequence data, and support for multi-line definitions and feature descriptors in GenBank file import.
This update also includes all corrections and additions made in prior 9.1 and 9.0x incremental updates, including a new join sequences function, an updated find sequence search with limited mismatches, and a new Gateway Cloning Wizard that helps you to simulate cloning using Gateway® Recombination Cloning techniques (Invitrogen Corp).
Concurrent User License holders -- this update includes a network administrator's toolkit (now included with the network version of Clone Manager 9.1). These administrator tools will help you to install and configure the software, turn on token logging, monitor tokens in use, and trouble-shoot problems you may encounter running the network edition of Clone Manager. A minor correction has been made to SetupComputer.msi, adding the missing description for type of file.
Individual or WorkGroup (Seat) License holders can download and install the incremental software update. Click below to begin the download to your computer. When prompted, select Save to write a copy of the file to your hard disk.
